FAQs

How frequent are sessions and how long will therapy last?

When you start individual therapy with me, I recommend coming weekly for at least the first six weeks. This allows us to build a solid foundation and rapport as we complete the assessment and introduction phases of therapy.

Therapy lasts for as long as it is helpful. I tend to work with clients long-term (for a year or more).

How much does therapy cost?

The fee for 50 minutes of one-on-one time with me providing individualized therapy is $225. You may use an FSA or HSA card to pay for services.

Many of my clients utilize out-of-network benefits, and seek reimbursement from their insurance provider to reduce the overall cost of therapy. You can learn more about how this works here.

What happens in therapy?

I incorporate techniques from the following therapies:

  • EMDR Therapy

  • IFS Therapy

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

  • Person-Centered Therapy

Clients tend to describe my style as energetic, engaging, thought-provoking, and caring.

Will insurance pay for my treatment?

While I do not accept insurance, I am able to provide superbills to clients to access out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend checking with your insurance provider to see if they will reimburse a portion of the cost for out-of-network psychotherapy services.
