FAQs

Here are some of the most common questions that I get about therapy with me.

If you don’t see your question here, feel free to contact me and I would be happy to help.

  • I operate a hybrid practice, offering a combination of in person and telehealth services.

My office is located in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

I also offer telehealth to residents of California and Ohio.

  • Yes! These are available on a limited basis. Do not hesitate to reach out to see if I have availability for in person therapy.

  • Sessions are typically 45 - 50 minutes in length. I ask that all new clients meet with me weekly for at least the first six weeks, at which point some of my clients choose to move to biweekly sessions.

Therapy lasts for as long as it is helpful. Because many of my clients are managing chronic conditions, most clients stay in therapy for a year or more.

  • I received a Masters in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.

I was trained in EMDR Therapy in 2018 and achieved EMDR Certification status in 2024.

Using Insurance to Pay for Therapy

I am not paneled with any insurance providers.

I do provide superbills with diagnosis codes and service codes that you may use to seek reimbursement from your insurance company if you have out of network benefits. Many of my clients receive 50% - 95% of the cost of services back from their insurance provider.

You may also pay for therapy with an HSA or FSA card.

Reduced Fee Sessions

I set aside a 1/3 of my caseload for reduced fee clients to increase access to services. While these slots are often filled, you are welcome to reach out and inquire about availability.

Reduced fee clients are seen for six months at which point we discuss your treatment and a potential revision to your fee.
